Sanatorium rehabilitation measures aimed at preventing the development and progression of chronic renal failure on the early stages of chronic kidney disease; also aimed at decrease in risk of complicationsdevelopment, improvement oflifequality and its duration while chronic kidney insufficiency already taking place is medically necessary for the vast majority of patients with renal disease, regardless of the cause.
In chronic kidney diseaseof 1–2 stages sanatorium-resort therapy actions are directed on the nephrological disease treatment, which caused its development and progression. Thus, the rehabilitation of patients with chronic pyelonephritis is aimed at the improving of urodynamics, renal hemodynamics, increasing natural resistance and reducing the intensity of proliferation and renal parenchymasclerosis. It includes sanatorium treatment, health food, climototherapy of 1–2 type, drinking water of low salinity, balneotherapy, pelotherapy (native peloid, peloid-electrophoresis, peloid-sinusoidal modulated currents phoresisfor indications), hardware physiotherapy (for indications), phytotherapy, sanitation of chronic infectionfoci, therapeutic physical training. The basisfor the rehabilitation of patients with chronic kidney disease associated with chronic glomerulonephritis is climototherapy. The climatic resorts of deserts, as well as seaside resorts (the southern and western regions of the Crimea in the Ukraine) are the most suitable for it. Balneotherapy is the basis of rehabilitation in patients with chronic kidney disease associated with urolithiasis. Sanatorium-resort therapy is provided both in the presence of the kidney stone and after its removal or discharge of self. Fundamental to effective rehabilitation of patients with chronic kidney disease is a thorough sanitation of chronic infection foci. Since 3 stages of a chronic illness of kidneys the purpose of sanatorium treatmentbecomes decrease in risk of complicationsdevelopment, improvement of lifequality and its duration while chronic kidney insufficiency already taking place. For patients with already impaired renal function in order to its activation pre-dosedaeropyrexial baths treatment under the conditions of climatronis possible. Thermotherapy helps to improve kidney function: increases glomerular filtration efficiency and azoteeliminative kidney function. Lower blood pressure, reduction of hypostasesobserved as a result. Similar effect have infrared saunas. With the purpose of detoxification in sanatorium conditions it is advisable to use a hardware method of cleansing the colon – colon hydrotherapy. Alkaline mineral water is used.Beginning with stage 3B of chronic kidney disease, sanatorium rehabilitation in the Ukraineis not shown for patients, as medical interventions for patients 3B-4 stages aimed at the pre-dialysis assessment, and for patients with a glomerular filtration rate of 15 ml/min or less there are no sanatorium with hemo-and peritoneal dialysis possibility. However, patients on replacement therapy and after transplantation need rehabilitation, which will improve their condition: prevent complications, reduce the appearance of comorbidities, including asthenic-depressive syndrome and significantly improve their quality of life. The use of sanatorium-resort therapymethodsfor patients with chronic kidney disease is spreading widely among the corrective technologies of recovery nephrology. Their qualified treatment is only possible by observance of the principles of staging and continuity between medical and preventive establishments-hospital, policlinic and sanatorium in compliance evidence-based physiotherapy requirements.
